Te mapa
Cruz do Espírito Santo lies in the low country west of João Pessoa, where the Paraíba River runs toward the Atlantic through a broad, flat valley. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets close to the water. The land around it is open and drawn with few lines. The contrast between the dense centre and the empty ground around it gives the sheet a calm, spacious feel.
This stretch of the Paraíba valley has long been sugarcane country, and farming shapes what you see from above: long straight field roads, scattered settlements and the curving line of the river. A Cruz do Espírito Santo map poster keeps these elements in simple black on white, so the relationship between river, town and farmland becomes the subject rather than the background.
Because it is close to the state capital, the municipality belongs to the wider João Pessoa area, yet it keeps the scale of a country town. Framed close in, the poster shows individual blocks and the main roads leading out. Framed wider, it follows the river and shows where the town sits within the valley and its fields.
The river that gives the state its name passes through the municipality. Its soft, meandering line anchors the whole composition and separates the town from the open valley floor.
The urban core is small and tightly drawn, a short run of streets and squares that reads clearly even at larger print sizes and stands out against the sparse land around it.
Beyond the town, long field roads and tracks cross the level ground of the coastal lowlands, a pattern tied to the region's long history of sugarcane farming.

Koteā ko Cruz do Espírito Santo
For people with family roots in Paraíba, or anyone who has driven the roads out of João Pessoa into the interior, this map holds a specific landscape: a river, a small town and the fields around it. It is a modest place, and the poster gives it the same care as any capital.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date or a family name, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files in six sizes or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
