Te mapa
Çubuk lies north of Ankara, in the Central Anatolian highlands, in a valley surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. From above, the town is compact, with streets spreading across the valley floor and roads leading south toward the capital and north into the hills. The countryside around it shows fields, orchards and open steppe.
The Çubuk stream flows through the valley toward Ankara, and to the south the Çubuk Dam forms a reservoir that was one of the first major dams built in the early years of the Turkish Republic. On the map, the water surfaces and green valley floor contrast with the drier hills on either side.
The town is well known across Turkey for its pickles, and it celebrates them with an annual festival. A Çubuk map poster shows a highland town in a fertile valley, with its streets, the stream and the reservoir forming a clear line running toward Ankara.
The town fills a valley floor between hills, with fields and orchards around it, giving the map a clear central band of settlement and farmland.
The Çubuk Dam reservoir appears as a long water shape along the valley, one of the earliest large dams of the Republic and a strong feature on the poster.
The main road runs south from the town toward the capital, drawing a direct line through the valley that connects Çubuk to the wider city region.
