Te mapa
Gölbaşı sits on the high Anatolian plateau just south of central Ankara, and its name, meaning roughly 'head of the lake', describes the map exactly. The town grew up beside Lake Mogan, a long, shallow lake whose reedy shoreline forms one edge of the settlement. Newer housing estates extend across the gentle slopes around it in neat, planned blocks with wide roads between them.
Just to the north lies the smaller Lake Eymir, set in a narrow valley and long used by Ankara residents for walking and rowing; the land around it belongs to Middle East Technical University. Both lakes fall within a special environmental protection area, so on the map they appear surrounded by open ground rather than streets, a rare amount of blank space so close to a capital.
The Ankara–Konya road runs through the district in a broad, straight line, tying Gölbaşı to the capital while separating it from the steppe beyond. A Gölbaşı map poster shows how a lakeside town and a growing suburb have met, with water, reeds and residential grids sharing the same sheet in clean black and white.
The long, reed-fringed lake is the largest shape on the map, its soft outline stretching away from the town and leaving generous open space across the composition.
A narrower lake lying in its own valley north of Mogan, framed by open land used for walking, cycling and rowing, and drawn as a slim, elongated form.
The main road south from Ankara cuts straight through the district, a strong line that organises the surrounding neighbourhoods and marks the town's close link to the capital.

Koteā ko Gölbaşı
Gölbaşı is where many Ankara families moved for more space and a view of the water, and the map captures that balance between suburb and lake. It works well for a new home, a first flat or a reminder of weekends at Mogan.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates to make it yours, and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files in all six sizes cost $9, or a matte print with an optional wooden frame ships from a nearby print partner.
