Te mapa
Cumanacoa lies inland from the city of Cumaná in Sucre state, in a valley surrounded by mountains. On the map, the town appears as a compact grid of streets in the Spanish colonial pattern, built around a central plaza on the flat valley floor. The streets end where the slopes begin, and roads leave in only a few directions following the valley.
The Manzanares River, which reaches the sea at Cumaná, runs through this valley, and its course is part of the landscape around the town. Farmland lines the valley floor, and the roads leading out of the grid follow the river and the lower ground. The mountains appear on the map as areas with few roads, framing the town.
A Cumanacoa map poster shows a traditional Venezuelan town in its setting: a regular grid of blocks and a plaza, with the valley and mountains around it. It has a clear, simple composition that suits the people who grew up here, whether they still live in Sucre or have moved far away.
The town centre follows a regular pattern of square blocks around a central plaza, and it forms the densest and most orderly part of the map.
The town sits on flat land in a valley, and farmland and roads stretch along the valley floor, following the course of the river.
Surrounding slopes have few roads, and these blank areas around the town make the grid stand out as a clear shape at the centre.

Koteā ko Cumanacoa
Many Venezuelans now live far from their hometowns, and a map of the plaza and the streets around it can mean a great deal. The simple grid in its valley makes an elegant, balanced poster.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be customised with a family name, a street or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
