Te mapa
Cusano Milanino lies just north of Milan, in the continuous urban belt that runs up toward Monza and the Brianza. On a map it is almost entirely built up, with its borders marked by streets rather than open land. The Seveso river crosses the area and adds a thin line of water to an otherwise very urban picture.
Its best-known feature is Milanino, a garden city planned in the early twentieth century. Here the streets curve and radiate among tree-lined blocks, a very different pattern from the straighter roads of the older village core and the neighbouring municipalities. On a map the difference is immediate: one part of the town looks drawn with a compass.
A Cusano map poster captures that contrast within a small area. The Milanino plan, with its rounded avenues and green spaces, sits beside the older, tighter blocks and the main roads leading to Milan. Blueprint emphasises the planned geometry, and Noir sets the curved streets off against a dark background.

The Seveso passes through the municipality on its way south toward Milan and forms a narrow line through the dense urban fabric.
Cusano merges with the neighbouring towns, so the map shows a continuous metropolitan pattern in which municipal borders run along ordinary streets.

Koteā ko Cusano
Cusano's appeal on paper comes from urban planning: a garden city visibly different from its surroundings. It suits people who live there, and anyone interested in how towns were designed at the start of the last century.
