Te mapa
Dabeiba lies in western Antioquia, in the folded mountains of Colombia's Cordillera Occidental. On the map the town is a small, elongated grid squeezed onto the valley floor beside the Río Sucio, with steep slopes pressing in on both sides. Streets run parallel to the water wherever the terrain allows, and short cross streets climb uphill until the gradient stops them.
The main road through the valley connects Medellín with the Urabá region on the Caribbean side, and it is the strongest line on any map of the area. It bends to follow the river and threads between the ridges. Beyond the town the drawing thins out into scattered rural lanes and the fine branching lines of mountain streams.
A Dabeiba map poster captures a town shaped entirely by its terrain. The river, the road and the slopes decide where every street goes, so the composition feels organic rather than planned. In print, the dense core against the empty mountainsides creates a striking balance between built space and open land.
The town centre sits on the flat ground beside the Río Sucio. Its streets are stretched along the valley instead of spreading outward in every direction.
The regional road linking Medellín with the Urabá coast passes through Dabeiba, drawing a long curving line that follows the river through the mountains.
Small tributaries run down from the surrounding ridges and appear as fine branching lines that frame the town on the map.
