Derry Village is the historic core of Derry, in southern New Hampshire, a short drive north of the Massachusetts border. Like many New England towns, it developed along older roads that bend around hills and wetlands, so the map has a loose, informal structure rather than a regular grid.
Neighbourhood streets cluster around the centre, then thin out into woodland, with ponds and brooks scattered through the landscape. Interstate 93 passes to the west, a straight modern line against the older, curving local roads.
