Dungun Map Poster & Print

Dungun lies on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, in the state of Terengganu, where the Dungun River flows into the South China Sea. From above, the town sits beside the river mouth. A long, nearly straight sandy coastline runs north and south, and the river curves inland through greenery and villages.

The area was once known for iron-ore mining at Bukit Besi, inland, with ore brought down to the coast for export. Today it is better known for its beaches and as a departure point for Tenggol Island, a small island offshore popular with divers.

A Dungun map poster pairs the clean line of the coast with the winding river and the compact town at its mouth. It is an open, uncluttered composition, where the sea takes up much of the frame.

Long coastline

A nearly straight stretch of sandy shore runs along the South China Sea, forming a clean, calm edge across the poster.

03

Tenggol offshore

Tenggol Island lies out to sea from the coast. In wider framings its small outline appears as a separate shape in open water.
