Te mapa
Easley lies in Pickens County in South Carolina's Upstate, west of Greenville, with the Blue Ridge foothills on the horizon. On the map, the railroad line and a major highway run roughly parallel through town. The older downtown sits close to the tracks, and subdivisions with curving streets and cul-de-sacs spread out over the rolling red-clay hills.
The town was founded in the 1870s when the railroad came through, and it was named after William King Easley, a local lawyer and politician. That origin is still readable from above. The historic grid stays close to the rail corridor, while later growth follows the roads toward Greenville and Clemson.
An Easley map poster shows a classic Southern town structure: a straight rail line, a compact old centre and a looser suburban fringe. The contrast between the orderly core and the looping modern streets gives the print an interesting texture, especially at the larger sizes.
The rail line that gave the town its start still runs through the middle, with the historic downtown built along it.
A major highway parallels the tracks, carrying development east toward Greenville and west toward Clemson.
Winding streets and cul-de-sacs spread over the rolling hills, giving the outer map a soft, looping pattern.
