Te mapa
Ebino is a city in the far west of Miyazaki Prefecture, close to the borders with Kumamoto and Kagoshima. Much of the city lies in a basin surrounded by mountains. To the south rise the volcanic peaks of the Kirishima range and the Ebino Plateau, known for its crater lakes and hiking trails.
On a map, the populated parts of Ebino are spread across the basin floor. Small town centres and villages are linked by roads that cross a broad pattern of rice paddies. A river runs through the basin, and the irrigation channels that feed the fields add a fine network of lines. At the edges, contour-hugging mountain roads replace the orderly field grid.
An Ebino map poster places a quiet farming basin against a volcanic backdrop. The print moves from the regular geometry of the paddies to the looser, twisting routes that climb into the highlands, a contrast that reads especially well in black and white.

Rice fields cover much of the flat basin floor. Their rectangular plots and irrigation channels form a fine, repeating texture across the map.
Instead of a single dense core, Ebino has several smaller built-up areas linked by roads across the farmland. This gives the print an evenly distributed feel.
