Eṭ Ṭīra lies in Israel's Central District, on the eastern side of the coastal Sharon plain, a short distance from Kfar Saba and Ra'anana. It is one of the Arab towns in the area known as the Triangle, and low hills rise not far to the east. The terrain is gentle, and the town spreads across flat and slightly rolling ground.
From above, the older centre is a dense, irregular mesh of streets and lanes that grew organically over time. Newer neighbourhoods extend outward in more regular patterns. Farmland surrounds much of the town, once dominated by citrus groves and still partly cultivated, and it separates the town from its neighbours.
