Ferreiros is a small municipality in the Zona da Mata of northern Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil, near the border with Paraíba. The region takes its name from the Atlantic forest that once covered it, and today it is dominated by sugarcane fields spreading across rolling hills and valleys.
