Gämi Map Poster & Print

Gämi lies in the Ashgabat area of Turkmenistan, close to the capital, where the flat plain meets the northern foothills of the Kopet Dag range. From above, the transition is striking. Organised street patterns on level ground end as the terrain rises into bare, folded slopes toward the Iranian border.

Settlements around the capital have grown alongside the city's expansion, and Gämi's layout reflects that. There are residential streets, main roads connecting to Ashgabat, and open land in between. The mountains to the south are a constant backdrop and give the area its sense of direction.

A Gämi map poster brings together two very different textures: a structured network of streets on the plain and the empty, rising foothills beyond. It is a simple composition, but the edge where the settlement meets the mountains gives it a clear sense of place.
