Te mapa
Gaz-e Borkhar is in Isfahan Province, in the Borkhar area north of the city of Isfahan, on a wide, dry plain. From above, the town has an older core of lanes and walled courtyards beside newer rectangular blocks laid out along wide avenues. The surrounding land is flat, and the street pattern extends outward with few natural obstacles to bend it.
The town is one of a ring of settlements that the growing Isfahan metropolitan area has drawn closer, and major roads leading north from the city toward Tehran pass nearby. On a Gaz-e Borkhar map poster these highways form bold lines at the edge of the composition. They frame the finer network of local streets and the older quarters inside.
Traditional farming still marks the countryside around the town: orchards, walled gardens and fields divided into narrow plots and watered by channels in this dry region. In black and white, the contrast between the long field strips, the compact old lanes and the regular modern blocks gives the map a layered look that reflects how the town grew over time.
The oldest part of town is a dense patch of narrow lanes and courtyard houses. Its irregular pattern is clearly different from the straight avenues of the newer districts around it.
Major routes leaving Isfahan to the north pass close to the town. They draw long straight lines across the plain and give the map a strong sense of direction.
Walled gardens and narrow fields surround the built-up area. They form a fine texture of parallel lines that fills the outer parts of the print.
