Te mapa
Shahrak-e Pardīsān is a planned residential district on the outskirts of Qom, in central Iran. The word shahrak means a small town or township, and the name signals what the map shows. This is a new area laid out deliberately rather than grown over centuries, with regular blocks, long straight streets and open land still visible at the edges.
The setting is dry and flat, typical of the plain around Qom, which stands at the edge of Iran's central deserts. Qom itself is one of the country's major religious centres, known for the shrine of Fatima Masumeh and its seminaries. As the city has grown over recent decades, new districts like this one have spread outward across the surrounding land.
A Shahrak-e Pardīsān map poster favours clean geometry: parallel avenues, evenly sized blocks and a clear boundary between built area and open ground. It is a modest subject in the best sense, a portrait of a neighbourhood that belongs to the everyday lives of the people who live there.
Streets run in straight, evenly spaced lines, creating a tidy grid that looks especially sharp and architectural in a monochrome print.
Beyond the last blocks the map opens into empty plain, emphasising how recently and deliberately the district was placed on the land.
Main roads lead back toward the older city, whose denser, more irregular pattern contrasts with the measured layout of the newer district.

Koteā ko Shahrak-e Pardīsān
New districts rarely appear on souvenirs or postcards, yet they are where many families spend their most important years. A map of Pardīsān records the streets of home with the same care usually reserved for famous cities.
The title and subtitle can be written in your own words, a date added below, and the coordinates line kept or changed. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the desert setting, while Blueprint emphasises the planned layout.
