Te mapa
Guariba lies in the northeast of São Paulo state, in a region shaped almost entirely by agriculture. The town is laid out on a regular grid of straight streets, typical of settlements in the Brazilian interior. Beyond the built-up area, the map opens onto wide, flat land where large sugarcane plantations stretch in every direction.
Guariba holds a notable place in Brazilian labour history. In 1984, sugarcane cutters here began a strike over wages and working conditions that became known across the country. It influenced agricultural labour negotiations in the region and is still remembered as a turning point for rural workers in São Paulo.
A Guariba map poster shows a compact, orderly town set in a vast agricultural landscape. The neat blocks, the few roads leading out to neighbouring towns and the open field land around them combine into a clean, balanced image of life in the São Paulo interior.
Straight, evenly spaced streets divide the town into uniform blocks, a clear and calm pattern at the centre of the map.
Plantations surround the town right up to its edges, shown as open space that makes the compact grid stand out even more.
Roads run out toward neighbouring towns across flat land, their long straight lines linking Guariba to the wider farming region.
