Te mapa
Gurúè is a town in the highlands of Zambezia Province in northern-central Mozambique. It lies at a higher elevation than most of the surrounding region, in green, hilly country near Mount Namuli, one of the country's highest peaks. The cooler, wetter climate made the area suitable for tea, and plantations cover the surrounding slopes.
On a map, the town is small compared with the landscape around it. A compact centre is connected to outlying neighbourhoods by roads that follow ridges and valleys. Beyond the town, plantation tracks and small streams form a detailed pattern across the hills, and the terrain gives the roads their winding shapes.
A Gurúè map poster shows a highland town set in a working landscape. It captures the few streets of the centre, the roads curving through the hills, and the large open areas of farmland and plantation around them. The drawing is quiet and spacious, which suits a place known for its mountain setting and green slopes.
The slopes around the town have long been used for tea plantations, one of the main reasons the area is known across Mozambique.
The roads follow ridges and valleys rather than straight lines. On the map, their curves reflect the mountainous terrain.
The town lies in the highlands near Mount Namuli, and the land rises steeply beyond the settlement.

Koteā ko Gurúè
For people who grew up in Gurúè or worked in its tea estates, the town's map shows a very specific memory: cool air, green slopes and winding roads. It makes a personal and uncommon print.
You can add a title, a subtitle with a name or date, and the coordinates. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper matches the calm, rural character of the highlands.
