Te mapa
Gusau lies on the savanna of northwestern Nigeria, and from above its streets gather in a broad settlement on fairly level ground. The older core has a denser, less regular pattern, while newer districts spread outward with wider roads and larger plots. Major roads leave the city toward neighbouring states, drawing long lines across the open land.
The Sokoto River flows near the city, and its course and the reservoir created by a dam upstream add a soft natural element to the map. A railway line passes through Gusau, a reminder of its role as a trading town, and open farmland surrounds the urban area.
Gusau is the capital of Zamfara State, created in 1996, and it has long served as a market centre for the surrounding agricultural region. A Gusau map poster captures the shape of a savanna city, with its roads, its river and the fields that stretch out beyond its edges.
The central district has a denser, more organic street pattern, standing out against the more spacious layout of the neighbourhoods that surround it.
The Sokoto River and a nearby reservoir bring curving water shapes to the map, breaking up the surrounding savanna.
Main highways and a railway line pass through the city, linking it with the wider north of Nigeria and forming strong lines across the poster.

Koteā ko Gusau
For people from Zamfara State, Gusau is the centre of family and community life. A map poster is a meaningful gift for someone living far away who wants to keep home close.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital HD files are $9, and printed posters are also available.
