Te mapa
Ḩawsh ‘Īsá is a town in Beheira Governorate, on the western side of Egypt's Nile Delta. The land around it is flat and farmed, and on a map that shows up as long, straight lines: irrigation canals, field boundaries and the roads that follow them. The built-up area sits as a compact knot within this larger agricultural pattern.
Inside the town, the streets are dense and irregular, typical of Delta settlements that grew outward over time. Roads leave the centre in several directions toward nearby villages, often running beside a canal. The edge between town and field is sharp, and the geometry changes quickly from crowded lanes to open ground.
A Ḩawsh ‘Īsá map poster keeps that relationship in view. The dense core in the middle, the canals and field lines around it, and the roads linking it to the rest of the governorate. It is a personal piece for families with roots here and for anyone who knows the western Delta.
Straight waterways cross the surrounding farmland and give the map its long parallel lines, a reminder of how closely the Delta's settlements depend on water.
The centre is a close cluster of small, irregular streets, much denser than the open agricultural land that surrounds it on every side.
Routes leave the town in several directions, often following canals, and tie it into the wider network of Beheira's rural settlements.
