Te mapa
Heze lies in the southwest of Shandong on the broad, flat plain of the lower Yellow River, which runs along the western edge of the surrounding prefecture. On the map the city appears as a regular arrangement of wide avenues and large blocks, spreading outward from an older centre. Its flatness gives the street pattern an even, almost diagrammatic quality.
Heze is best known as China's peony capital. Peonies have been cultivated here for centuries, and every spring the city hosts a peony festival when the large gardens and fields around it come into bloom. The city was historically known as Caozhou, a name that still appears in local place names and in the names of its peony varieties.
A Heze map poster presents the city with the clarity its plan allows. The larger gardens and parks appear as open shapes among the blocks, the main roads extend outward in straight lines across the plain and the density of streets fades gradually into farmland. It is a calm, structured composition that suits a city defined by cultivation.
Large peony gardens and cultivation areas lie around the city. On the map they appear as open, softly subdivided spaces between the denser residential and commercial blocks.
Broad roads run in straight lines across Heze, dividing it into generous rectangular blocks. The pattern gives the poster a steady, balanced rhythm.
With no hills to shape it, Heze spreads evenly across the plain, and the transition from city streets to surrounding fields is gradual and clearly visible.

Koteā ko Heze
Heze is a map for families from southwest Shandong and for those who have visited during the peony season. A poster of home, with its familiar avenues and gardens, makes a thoughtful gift for parents or for yourself after a move to another city.
Add a title in Chinese or English, include a year or family name in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives the plain a warm, earthy tone.
