Te mapa
Himi faces Toyama Bay at the base of the Noto Peninsula. From above, the city is a strip of streets between the sea and a line of low hills. The harbour sits at the centre of the waterfront, and rivers run down from the hills into the bay. Roads follow the coast north toward the peninsula and south toward Takaoka.
Himi is famous throughout Japan for its winter yellowtail, known as Himi kanburi, caught in fixed nets in the bay. On clear days the Tateyama mountain range can be seen across the water, rising beyond the sea. This view is one of the region's best-known images. Beyond the harbour, the city blends into rice fields and wooded slopes.
A Himi map poster holds the coast, the port and the hills in one clear frame. In black and white, the bay becomes a wide expanse of calm, and the streets a narrow band along its edge. It is a good choice for those who know the city through its seafood, its seasons or its view of the mountains.
A long, gently curving coastline runs along the east of the city. On the poster it forms a clean edge against open water.
Breakwaters and quays mark the port at the heart of the waterfront. It is the centre of Himi's renowned winter fishing.
Low hills rise behind the town, cut by small rivers flowing to the sea. They give the western side of the map a soft texture.

Koteā ko Himi
Himi is a city people remember for a winter meal, a view across the bay or a family home near the harbour. A personal title or date turns the map into a quiet record of that connection.
Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the calm of the coast. The $9 HD files include 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes, including A3 and A2.
