Te mapa
Jerantut sits in the middle of Pahang, where the lowland forest opens briefly around a small grid of shophouse streets. From above, the town is a tight cluster of short blocks, and the land around it is laid out in plantation plots, with patches of forest and river channels winding slowly toward the Pahang River.
The town is best known as the gateway to Taman Negara, one of the oldest protected rainforests in the world. Travellers pass through on their way to the river jetties further north, and the town is also a stop on the East Coast railway line. That gives the map a clear logic: a small centre, a rail line, and roads heading out into the green.
A Jerantut map poster shows a place defined by its edges more than its centre. The dense street pattern thins quickly into long rural roads, and the linework in black and white reads almost like a diagram of a frontier: settlement on one side, forest and water on the other, joined by a handful of routes.
The East Coast line runs through Jerantut, drawing a long, gently curving stroke across the map that ties the town to the rest of the peninsula's interior.
Roads leading north from the centre head toward the river approaches of Taman Negara, so the map traces the start of the route into the national park.
The centre is a small, dense block of streets that stands out clearly against the open plantation land and scattered villages all around it.

Koteā ko Jerantut
For anyone who has started a trip into Taman Negara from here, or who grew up among these streets, the map keeps the whole place in view: a small town, a railway, and the forest waiting beyond it.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a journey, and pick one of five styles. Classic black and white suits the dense centre, while Sand or Paper give the surrounding green land a softer tone.
