Te mapa
Juan Díaz is one of the larger corregimientos of Panama City, lying east of the old centre on the flat land beside the Pacific. From above it is a broad spread of residential streets with a few main roads running through, and it takes its name from the Juan Díaz River that crosses it on the way to the bay.
Near the coast, the Corredor Sur expressway traces the edge of the city, and patches of mangrove and tidal land still separate parts of the district from open water. Inland, cul-de-sacs, short loops and older grid fragments sit side by side, which is typical of how Panama City grew outward through the twentieth century.
On a Juan Díaz map poster the character of the district comes through in that mix. Curving suburban streets, straight arterial roads and the meandering lines of rivers and creeks all meet along a long coastline. The result is less formal than a colonial grid and more organic in its detail.
The river that gives the district its name winds across the flat coastal plain toward the Bay of Panama, adding a soft, irregular line through the street pattern.
The coastal expressway follows the shoreline on the district's southern side, a smooth curve dividing the city from the tidal flats and the bay.
Suburban loops, cul-de-sacs and straight avenues fill in the inland area, showing the layered growth of eastern Panama City.

Koteā ko Juan Díaz
For people who live in Juan Díaz, it is a real neighbourhood rather than a postcard view: the route to school, the family house, the road to the airport. A map poster shows that daily geography with care and without fuss.
Change the title to the name of your street or barrio, add a date in the subtitle and keep or edit the coordinates line. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
