Te mapa
Junqueirópolis lies in the far west of São Paulo state, in the region known as Alta Paulista, where towns were founded along railway and road corridors during the twentieth-century expansion of agriculture into the interior. The town shows that origin clearly on a map: a tidy grid of streets on gently rolling land, surrounded by farms.
Agriculture remains central to the local economy, and the surrounding municipality is a patchwork of plantations, pasture and orchards. Rural roads leave the town in straight lines toward neighbouring municipalities, while streams and small valleys add irregular strokes to the otherwise geometric countryside.
A Junqueirópolis map poster emphasises the clarity of this planned layout. The central blocks form a dense rectangle, with avenues and a few diagonal routes extending into the countryside. It is a clean, balanced composition that reflects the practical design of the towns of the São Paulo interior.
The town centre follows a regular grid of rectangular blocks, a pattern typical of Alta Paulista towns founded during the agricultural frontier's expansion.
Fields, pasture and orchards surround the town, so the map beyond the urban area is defined by long roads and large parcels.
Small streams and their shallow valleys cross the municipality, providing the only curving lines amid the straight roads and blocks.
