Te mapa
Juwana lies on the north coast of Central Java, in the Pati regency, where the Juwana river reaches the Java Sea. The town grew up around the river and its harbour. On the map, the dense centre sits close to the water, and the coastline beyond it breaks into a grid of rectangular fish ponds and salt pans that stretch along the shore.
Juwana has long been one of the important fishing ports on this coast, with boats moored along the river and a busy fish market. The town is also well known for its brass craft, with workshops producing metalwork sold across Indonesia. The main coastal road that runs along northern Java passes through the town and links it with Pati and Rembang.
A Juwana map poster shows how a coastal town meets its water. In monochrome, the river channel, the pond grid and the dense streets each form a distinct texture. It suits families from the town, people connected to the fishing and brass trades, and anyone drawn to the geometry of Java's north coast.
The Juwana river runs through town to the sea, lined with moorings and quays. It forms the strongest natural line on the map.
Along the coast, a large grid of rectangular ponds and salt pans covers the flat land. It creates a striking, almost architectural pattern.
The main road along Java's north coast passes through Juwana. It is drawn as a firm east–west line that ties the town to its neighbours.

Juwana suits people from the Pati coast, fishing families and those who have moved to larger cities but still think of the harbour as home. The map is quiet, detailed and personal.
