Te mapa
Karād grew up at the confluence of the Krishna and the Koyna, and from above that meeting shapes the whole town. Two rivers approach from different directions and join, and the older streets sit on the land between them. Newer neighbourhoods and roads extend outward onto the flat, fertile ground of the Satara district.
The confluence is called Preeti Sangam, and its riverside ghats are a popular place for evening walks. Karād is also closely associated with Yashwantrao Chavan, the first chief minister of Maharashtra, whose memorial stands near the meeting of the rivers.
A Karād map poster is built around that Y-shaped junction of water. The rivers give the print a strong, natural frame, and the street network fills the space between and beside them. Highway and rail lines cut across the edges, showing how the town links into western Maharashtra.
The Krishna and Koyna meet right beside the town, and their joining channels create the clearest shape on the map.
The older, denser streets sit close to the confluence, and the blocks loosen as the town moves away from the water.
Major road and rail lines pass along the town's edges and appear as long, confident strokes across the sheet.

For people from Karād, the confluence is a daily landmark and part of home. A print showing the two rivers meeting is a warm gift for a family home, a new flat in Pune or Mumbai, or anyone living far from Satara district.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised. Styles include Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital files are 300 DPI and have no watermark, and printed posters with optional frames are also available.
