Te mapa
Kasai lies inland on the Harima plain in southern Hyōgo Prefecture. The land is gently rolling rather than mountainous, and much of it is farmland. The most distinctive feature on a map is water. Harima is known for its many irrigation ponds, and around Kasai they appear as dozens of small shapes scattered among the fields and villages.
The city centre is small, and the rest of the municipality is a spread of hamlets connected by country roads. Kasai also contains the remains of the Uzurano airfield, a wartime naval air base. Part of the old runway and several concrete structures survive and are now preserved as a local historical site.
A Kasai map poster turns this landscape into a light, open composition: a small central cluster, roads crossing the plain and the characteristic ponds scattered throughout. It is a map for people who know rural Hyōgo and value its quieter, carefully worked land.
Many small reservoirs, typical of the Harima plain, dot the fields. On the poster they form a scattered pattern of pale, rounded shapes.
The wartime Uzurano airfield left a long straight runway outline in the farmland. It is one of the few strictly geometric features on the map.
Small settlements are linked by narrow country roads. This gives the map a loose, evenly distributed texture instead of a single dense core.

Koteā ko Kasai
The map suits people who grew up among the fields and ponds of Harima or who have family ties to Kasai. It shows a quiet agricultural landscape with an honesty that feels personal on a wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a year, and edit the coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
