Te mapa
Kepala Batas lies in Seberang Perai Utara, on the mainland side of Penang state in northwestern Peninsular Malaysia. From above, it is a mix of old and new. The original town centre sits along the main road, and planned housing estates with tidy, repeating street patterns have grown around it. Paddy fields spread out in flat, rectangular plots beyond.
The town is widely associated with Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the former Malaysian prime minister, who represented the Kepala Batas constituency. The nearby Bertam area is home to a medical campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia. On the map, the North–South Expressway corridor passes close by, a strong line that links the town to the rest of the peninsula.
A Kepala Batas map poster brings out the contrast between the geometric estates and the open agricultural land. In black and white, the paddy plots become a quiet field around the dense grids of housing. It is a fitting print for families from northern Penang and for alumni who studied or worked nearby.
Planned residential estates form compact grids with repeating short streets. At poster scale they read as neat blocks of pattern set around the older centre.
Flat rice fields surround much of the town. On the map they open up into wide, calm space, broken only by drainage lines and farm roads.
The North–South Expressway runs near Kepala Batas and connects it to Butterworth and northern Malaysia. It forms one of the strongest lines in the composition.

Koteā ko Kepala Batas
A map of Kepala Batas speaks to people who grew up among its estates and fields, or who spent time at the nearby campus. It is a calm, graphic way to remember the place, well suited to a new home in Kuala Lumpur or overseas.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or graduation year, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF.
