Te mapa
Kisela Voda is one of the municipalities that make up the city of Skopje, covering districts to the south of the centre. On a map it appears as a dense band of housing between the flat valley floor of the Vardar and the rising ground to the south, crossed by major roads and by railway lines that curve through its residential and industrial areas.
The name translates as sour water, a reference to a mineral spring that once gave the area its identity. Today the municipality mixes socialist-era apartment blocks, low family houses and industrial zones, with streets becoming more irregular as they climb the hillsides. Much of it reflects Skopje's expansion in the decades after the 1963 earthquake, when the city grew rapidly outward.
A Kisela Voda map poster is a portrait of an everyday district rather than a postcard view. Long straight avenues, the curve of the rail tracks and the finer grain of hillside streets combine into a composition that works well in Noir or Classic black and white, and it gives residents a map focused on their own neighbourhood instead of the whole capital.
Railway lines cut through the municipality, drawing strong curves across the map and separating residential streets from warehouses and larger industrial plots.
Toward the south the grid loosens as streets bend to follow the terrain, with smaller houses and gardens gradually replacing the large apartment blocks.
Wide avenues run north from Kisela Voda toward central Skopje and the Vardar, so the poster shows both the neighbourhood and its direct ties to the rest of the city.

Koteā ko Kisela Voda
People from Kisela Voda often describe themselves by their neighbourhood before their city, and a map centred on the municipality respects that. It makes a personal gift for someone who grew up among these blocks and has since moved elsewhere in Europe or beyond.
The title can read Kisela Voda, Skopje or anything you prefer, with a subtitle for a date or dedication and an editable coordinates line. Five styles are on offer, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, with HD downloads in six print sizes.
