Te mapa
Kochubeyevskoye stretches along the Kuban River in the western part of Stavropol Krai, in the open agricultural country of the North Caucasus foothills. From above, it looks less like a compact town and more like a long settlement, with streets running in parallel lines and generous plots between them. The river provides the natural boundary, with its floodplain and channels traced beside the houses.
The street network is regular and spacious, typical of large southern Russian villages where each household once had a garden and yard. A few wider roads carry traffic through, and the rest is a steady rhythm of residential blocks. Beyond them, the fields of the Stavropol plain extend in broad rectangles.
A Kochubeyevskoye map poster shows the logic of a steppe village: long lines, wide plots and a river edge. There are no dense clusters or tangled old lanes, only a calm, repeated pattern that becomes graphic and quite striking in monochrome. It is an unusual subject, which is precisely what makes it personal.
The river runs along the settlement, its channels and floodplain forming a soft, irregular edge against the straight residential streets.
Long residential streets run side by side through the village, creating a steady striped pattern that dominates the poster from edge to edge.
Around the houses, the farmland of the Stavropol plain is divided into large rectangles, framing the village in a wider geometric pattern.
