Te mapa
Kukmor is a town in the northeast of Tatarstan, near the border with the Udmurt and Mari regions. From above, it forms a compact settlement of mostly low-rise streets, with residential blocks near the centre and private houses on longer lanes at the edges. Beyond the town, the map opens into fields and scattered villages.
The town is best known for felt boots, the traditional Russian valenki. Felting has been part of local life for generations, and the town's felt-boot factory made Kukmor's name familiar across the country. A railway line also passes through the area, giving the map one firm straight stroke among gentler streets.
A Kukmor map poster shows a working provincial town in a rural setting. A small river valley and the curves of its tributaries break up the grid, and the streets bend to follow the land. In black and white, the town has a modest, grounded character, a genuine piece of Tatarstan rather than a postcard view.
Kukmor is known for valenki, the felted winter boots of Russian tradition, and the local felting industry has long been central to the town's identity.
A railway crosses the area in a long straight line, contrasting with the softer, irregular streets of the town and the curving river valley nearby.
Beyond the town's edge the map is open country, with fields, small villages and river valleys typical of northern Tatarstan.

Koteā ko Kukmor
Kukmor rarely appears in print, which makes its map meaningful for people who grew up there or have family in the region. It records the ordinary streets of home with the same care usually given to capital cities.
Add your own title and a subtitle in any language, set the coordinates line or a date, and choose one of five styles. Paper gives the town a warm, archival feel, while Noir suits a darker, contemporary room.
