Te mapa
La Paz lies in the department of Canelones, just beyond the northern edge of Montevideo and within its wider metropolitan area. On the map it is part of a chain of towns along the main road and railway running north from the capital, with Las Piedras close by. The street pattern is mostly a regular grid of residential blocks that softens into fields toward the edges.
Like many communities in southern Canelones, La Paz combines suburban homes with a rural hinterland of small farms, in a department known as the centre of Uruguayan winemaking. Many residents work in Montevideo and travel in each day, while local life gathers along a few commercial streets and around neighbourhood schools and clubs.
A La Paz map poster presents a town where city and countryside meet. The grid is clear and ordered, the main road and railway form strong axes, and the edges dissolve into field boundaries and small streams. It is a subtle, balanced composition and a portrait of the everyday rhythm of Montevideo's outskirts.
The main road and the railway heading north form the spine of the town, the lines along which La Paz and its neighbours developed.
Most streets follow a simple grid of square and rectangular blocks, a layout common in Uruguayan towns that suits a minimalist print.
Beyond the last blocks, the map shifts to fields, farm tracks and small watercourses, showing how close the countryside remains to the capital.

Koteā ko La Paz
La Paz is home for many families who work in the capital but want a little more space. A map of the town is a personal marker of where those days begin and end, and a good gift for someone who has moved abroad.
The title and subtitle can say whatever you like, in Spanish or English, and the coordinates line is editable too. Choose from five styles. The $9 digital files come as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF in each of six sizes.
