Te mapa
San Justo sits on the flat plain west of the city of Buenos Aires and is the administrative seat of La Matanza, the most populous partido in the province. From above, the pattern is almost entirely grid: square blocks repeat in every direction, broken only by broad avenues, rail lines and occasional parks or sports grounds. The effect is regular, dense and characteristic of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
The main axis is Avenida Brigadier General Juan Manuel de Rosas, the course of National Route 3, which runs through the town toward the south-west and carries heavy traffic to and from the capital. The central square, the municipal buildings, the national university of La Matanza and a large concentration of shops give San Justo its role as the centre of a very large district.
A San Justo map poster turns this grid into a graphic study of rhythm and repetition. The long avenues and railway act as strong lines, while the uniform blocks form a fine mesh around them. For anyone who grew up in La Matanza or passed through it every day on the way to work, the image will feel immediately familiar.
Avenida Juan Manuel de Rosas, the course of National Route 3, runs straight through the grid, the strongest single line on the map and the town's commercial spine.
Square blocks repeat almost without interruption, a classic Argentine layout that gives the poster an even, textile-like texture from edge to edge.
The main plaza and the civic buildings around it form a small open break in the grid, marking the historic and administrative heart of San Justo.

Koteā ko San Justo
La Matanza is home to well over a million people, and San Justo is where many of them go to study, shop or deal with the municipality. A map of the town is a strong reminder of that everyday centre, especially for those who have moved away.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files in six print sizes, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
