Te mapa
Lake Sebu is a municipality in South Cotabato in Mindanao, set on a plateau in the hills. It is named after the largest of its lakes, and the map is shaped by water: Lake Sebu itself, along with the smaller Lake Lahit and Lake Seloton, forms irregular shapes with coves and inlets, surrounded by roads and small settlements.
The area is the ancestral home of the T'boli people, known for their t'nalak weaving made from abaca fibre. The lakes are also used for fish farming, and fish pens are a common sight on the water. Nearby, a series of waterfalls, often called the Seven Falls, draws visitors into the forested hills.
A Lake Sebu map poster is unusual among town maps, because the lakes rather than the streets take up most of the frame. Their uneven shorelines give the composition an organic, almost hand-drawn outline, while the roads trace the higher ground between them. The result is calm and very distinctive.
The largest lake has a long, irregular shoreline with bays and peninsulas. It anchors the map, and the town and roads follow its edges.
Two smaller lakes sit nearby and repeat the same organic shapes on a smaller scale. Together, the three lakes give the poster its unusual layout.
Roads wind between the lakes and up into the hills, linking villages across the municipality. Their curves follow the terrain rather than a grid.

Koteā ko Lake Sebu
Lake Sebu is a place people remember: the lakes, the T'boli weaving, the waterfalls in the hills. A map of its shorelines is a thoughtful keepsake for people from Mindanao and for travellers who spent time there.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a trip date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
