Te mapa
Sultan Kudarat is a municipality in Maguindanao, on the lower course of the Rio Grande de Mindanao. It faces Cotabato City across the river. From above, the town center is a modest cluster of streets near the water, with roads leading out through low-lying farmland, fishponds and the wet ground of the delta.
The municipality is named after Sultan Muhammad Kudarat, the 17th-century ruler of the Sultanate of Maguindanao, who is remembered for resisting Spanish colonial expansion. The name ties the place to a long history of Muslim governance in this part of Mindanao, a region shaped by rivers and trade along the coast.
A Sultan Kudarat map poster centers on water. It shows the broad river, the smaller channels that branch off it, and the coastline of Illana Bay to the west. The settled areas form a looser, more organic pattern here than in a planned grid.
The wide Rio Grande de Mindanao separates the municipality from Cotabato City, and the bridges and riverbanks form a strong central line on the map.
Smaller waterways and creeks thread through the low ground, splitting the land into irregular pieces that give the map a fluid, branching texture.
To the west the land meets Illana Bay, part of the Moro Gulf, where the coastline softens into marsh and shallow water.

The poster works well as a keepsake for families from Maguindanao, or for anyone who has crossed the river between Sultan Kudarat and Cotabato City many times. It records a landscape where the town and the water are closely bound together.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a hometown, a wedding or a move. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
