Te mapa
Las Cruces is in southern New Mexico, in the Mesilla Valley along the Rio Grande. From above, green fields and pecan orchards follow the river to the west, while the city's streets reach east across the open desert towards the Organ Mountains. The contrast between irrigated valley and dry mesa is sharp.
Two interstates, I-10 and I-25, meet here, and their long straight lines frame the city. New Mexico State University has a large campus on the south side. To the south-west, the historic village of Mesilla keeps a small plaza-centred layout that dates back to the nineteenth century.
A Las Cruces map poster shows a city defined by open space. Suburban grids stop where the desert begins, the river and its irrigation ditches form a green corridor, and the highways cross the valley in clear, bold strokes. It is a spacious, airy composition.
The river and its network of irrigation ditches run along the western side of the city, bordered by farmland and pecan orchards in narrow, regular plots.
The historic village south-west of the centre is built around a small square, forming a tight, older street pattern among modern suburbs.
I-10 and I-25 meet near the city, their broad lines crossing the valley and the desert and marking the edges of the built-up area.

This is a poster for NMSU graduates, people who grew up with views of the Organ Mountains and anyone who knows the Mesilla Valley in pecan season. It keeps the openness of the desert in a clean graphic form.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a class year or a special date. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the desert particularly well.
