Te mapa
Linjiacun lies in eastern Shandong, inland from the Yellow Sea coast, in countryside of low hills and wide cultivated valleys. From above, the settlement has a dense centre of closely set houses and courtyards, with lanes that follow the older village layout. Newer streets and larger blocks spread out along the main roads, forming a straighter, more regular grid.
The land around the town is a patchwork of fields, orchards and small reservoirs. Streams wind between low rises, and field boundaries break the landscape into fine, irregular shapes. A Linjiacun map poster shows the whole transition: compact settlement at the centre, a looser weave of roads and plots around it, and the lines of regional routes linking it to neighbouring towns.
Eastern Shandong is one of China's most productive farming regions, known for vegetables, fruit and peanuts, and its towns have grown quickly alongside new roads and industry. Linjiacun reflects that mix of rural pattern and recent growth. On paper it reads as a place still visibly connected to the land that surrounds it.
The oldest part of the settlement is a tight cluster of courtyard houses and narrow lanes, the densest and most intricate texture on the map.
Farmland surrounds the town in small, irregular plots divided by paths and ditches. Printed in black and white, it becomes a fine, almost woven background.
Straight main roads pass through and around the town, carrying newer development along their edges and tying Linjiacun into the wider road network of the province.
