The Lukut River
The river loops past the town on its way to the Strait of Malacca, giving the map a soft curved line that contrasts with the straighter roads around it.

Te mapa
Lukut sits a short distance inland from the west coast of Negeri Sembilan, close to Port Dickson. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets where local roads meet, with the Lukut River winding past it toward the sea. Around the built-up core the lines thin out quickly into plantation tracks and scattered housing estates.
The name is tied to the tin trade of the nineteenth century, when Lukut was one of the busiest mining settlements on this stretch of coast. A hilltop fort from that period still stands above the town and gives it a quiet historical anchor. From above, that raised ground is easy to read as a break in the otherwise gentle terrain.
A Lukut map poster shows a place in transition between coast and interior: short streets, a river bend, estate roads fanning outward and the first hint of the shoreline at the edge of the frame. Rendered in black and white, the modest street pattern becomes a clean, balanced composition with plenty of open space around it.
The river loops past the town on its way to the Strait of Malacca, giving the map a soft curved line that contrasts with the straighter roads around it.
A nineteenth-century fort sits on raised ground above the town, a reminder of Lukut's tin-mining past and a small green patch on the map.
Roads run west toward Port Dickson and the shoreline, so a wider framing pulls in the edge of the sea and the long coastal road.

Koteā ko Lukut
For people who grew up here or worked near Port Dickson, Lukut is a familiar crossing of roads rather than a postcard view. A map poster captures that everyday geography, the river, the hill and the route to the beach, in a form that suits a calm wall.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date or the coordinates line, and choose between Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed or unframed.
