Highway spine
The Masaka–Mbarara road runs straight through town. It is the boldest line on the poster and the axis around which Lyantonde grew.

Te mapa
Lyantonde sits on the main road between Masaka and Mbarara in southwestern Uganda, and that road defines the town. Most of Lyantonde's shops, lodges and fuel stations line the highway, and the town has long served as a stopping point for trucks and travellers crossing the region toward Rwanda, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
On the map, the highway forms a strong central spine, with shorter streets branching off to either side into residential areas. Beyond them the land opens into rolling grassland and cattle country, crossed by rural tracks. The town's shape is linear and practical, built around movement rather than a central square.
A Lyantonde map poster shows that logic with clarity. The single long road draws the eye across the composition, while the smaller streets create a comb-like pattern along it. It is a map about connection, a good fit for anyone who remembers the town from journeys or from home.

Open cattle country surrounds the town, crossed by faint rural tracks. It frames the linear town with calm empty space.

Koteā ko Lyantonde
Lyantonde is familiar to many Ugandans who have travelled the western route, and for those from the town it is simply home. A map poster holds both the road and the neighbourhoods in one simple image.
