Magba Map Poster & Print
Magba lies in the Noun department of Cameroon's West Region, near the eastern edge of the highlands. The town is compact: a main road lined with buildings, a market area, and residential quarters that spread along side streets and footpaths. Around it the map fills with fields, stands of trees and small streams draining toward lower ground.
Water shapes the surroundings. The Mapé dam was built to regulate river flow for hydroelectric plants downstream, and it created a large reservoir in the district. Fishing has since become part of local life. Farming remains central too, with food crops and plantations covering much of the land outside town.
