Mailsi is a town in Vehari District in southern Punjab, set on the wide, level plain north of the Sutlej River. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets. Around it lies a very regular landscape of fields, canals and village tracks, with the lines of irrigation stretching toward the horizon in every direction.

The best-known structure is the Mailsi Siphon, where a link canal passes under the Sutlej riverbed.
