Te mapa
This Malkapur is in Satara district in western Maharashtra, directly beside the town of Karad, and the two have grown so close that the boundary is hard to find on a map. The national highway runs north to south as the main organising line, with residential streets branching off on either side and farmland pressing in at the edges.
The town lies in the broad valley of the Krishna, one of the great rivers of the Deccan, which meets the Koyna nearby at Karad. Sugarcane fields and irrigation channels give the surrounding land a patchwork texture, and the low foothills of the Sahyadri rise on the western horizon.
Malkapur's street pattern is young and practical. Newer colonies are laid out in rectangular blocks, while older lanes follow the old field boundaries. A Malkapur map poster records a town in the middle of its growth, with the highway, the river valley and the new neighbourhoods drawn together on one sheet.
The national highway runs straight through the town, a strong vertical line from which most streets branch, giving the map a clear, readable structure.
Malkapur and Karad merge into a single urban area, so the poster shows one settlement flowing into the next without any visible break.
Around the built-up edge, a mosaic of farm plots, sugarcane fields and irrigation channels fills the space, softening the outline of the town.

Koteā ko Malkapur
For anyone who studied, worked or grew up around Karad, this map traces daily routes along the highway and out into the fields. It is a modest, honest portrait of a Maharashtra town, the kind of place that rarely appears on a poster but means a great deal to the people from it.
Title it Malkapur, Karad or anything you like, add a date in the subtitle and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Buy it as $9 HD files or as a printed poster.
