Te mapa
Malvar is a municipality in Batangas province in the Calabarzon region of Luzon, south of Metro Manila. It is named after General Miguel Malvar, a leader of the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine–American War who came from nearby Santo Tomas. On a map the town sits on gently rolling ground between its larger neighbours, Lipa and Tanauan.
The Southern Tagalog Arterial Road, known as the STAR Tollway, runs through the area and gives the map its strongest line, while an older national road passes through the town centre. Around the poblacion, the traditional town core with its church and plaza, the streets are short and tightly spaced before opening into barangays spread across agricultural land.
In recent decades a large industrial estate has developed in Malvar, bringing broad factory plots and new access roads to the map. A Malvar map poster brings together these different scales, the old centre, the tollway and the industrial blocks, into a single clear composition in fine black line work.
The expressway crosses the municipality in long, gentle curves, the boldest line on the map and the main connection between Malvar, Batangas City and Manila.
The historic town centre forms a compact cluster of short streets around the church and plaza, the finest-grained and most detailed area of the poster.
Large, regular factory plots and wide internal roads mark the industrial zone, a clear geometric pattern that stands apart from the looser rural lanes around it.

Malvar is home to farming families, commuters and many who work in the industrial parks of Batangas. For them, and for relatives abroad who still call it home, a map of the town is a personal and lasting keepsake.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name, a barangay or an important date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand, and download the $9 HD files or order a printed poster with an optional frame.
