Te mapa
Manaung is the principal town of Manaung Island, also known as Cheduba, which lies off the Rakhine coast of western Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal. From above, the island reads as a rounded landmass surrounded by open sea, with the town and its streets set within a landscape of fields, palms and low hills.
The streets form a modest network centred on the town's market area, with roads leading out toward villages and the island's coasts. Because the island is relatively small, the map can show the relationship between settlement and shoreline very directly, which gives the poster a strong sense of place.
Cheduba is known for its mud volcanoes, small cones that occasionally erupt with mud and gas, a geological curiosity of this part of the Rakhine coast. A Manaung map poster brings the town and its island setting together in a clean, quiet composition.

Koteā ko Manaung
A map of Manaung appeals to people with family ties to the island, or to those who have travelled along the Rakhine coast. Its island shape and simple street pattern make a calm, graphic piece that feels personal rather than decorative.
