Te mapa
Manay is a municipality in Davao Oriental, on the eastern coast of Mindanao facing the Philippine Sea. The town centre is small and sits close to the water. Behind it the land rises quickly into forested and farmed hills, and the barangays spread out along the coast and up into the interior.
From above, the core is a modest set of streets near the shore, loosely rectangular where the flat land allows. Beyond it, the coastal road follows the shoreline, and smaller roads climb inland along ridges and streams. Rivers cross the coastal plain to the sea, and their mouths show as small breaks in the line of the beach.
A Manay map poster keeps the essentials: a compact town, the long edge of the coast and a thin network of roads heading into the uplands. It is a spare, calm composition, well suited to a place defined as much by the sea as by its streets.
The coast runs along the eastern edge of the map and forms the strongest line in the composition, marking the border between town and open ocean.
The town centre gathers in a small cluster of streets near the water, clearly set apart from the scattered rural settlements around it.
Secondary roads leave the coast and wind inland, following valleys and ridges towards upland barangays and farmland.

Koteā ko Manay
For families from Manay living in Davao, Manila or abroad, this map is a simple, honest picture of home: the town, the sea and the hills behind. It works well in a living room or as a gift for a homecoming or reunion.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a meaningful date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives the coastline a warm tone. You can buy the HD files for $9 or order a matte print, framed if you like.
