The temple hill
The hill rising at the town's edge is left almost empty by streets, so it becomes the strongest shape on the print. It's a natural anchor that the rest of the grid seems to lean against.

Te mapa
Mangalagiri sits on the plain between Vijayawada and Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, and from above the first thing you notice is the hill at its edge. Streets gather at the foot of the slope and spread out across flat ground toward farmland, with the national highway passing along one side. In black and white, the hill shows as a quiet empty shape beside a dense, irregular web of lanes.
The town is best known for its temples. The Panakala Narasimha Swamy shrine stands on the hillside, where devotees offer panakam, a sweet jaggery drink. Below it, the Lakshmi Narasimha temple rises with a tall gopuram that marks the old centre. A Mangalagiri map poster keeps that link in view: the sacred hill, the temple streets and the town that grew up around them.
Mangalagiri is also a weaving town, known for its cotton handloom saris and fabrics. It now forms part of the capital region around Amaravati, and newer institutions such as AIIMS Mangalagiri sit on its outskirts. The map shows both layers together: the compact older core, and the wider, more open blocks being laid out beyond it as the region grows.
The hill rising at the town's edge is left almost empty by streets, so it becomes the strongest shape on the print. It's a natural anchor that the rest of the grid seems to lean against.
Close to the foot of the hill, the lanes tighten into a fine, uneven mesh around the main temple. This is the densest pattern on the map and the oldest part of the town.
A major road runs past the town, and beyond it the blocks grow larger and more regular. This is where the newer capital-region development shows up against the older fabric.

Koteā ko Mangalagiri
For many people Mangalagiri means a pilgrimage climb, a family home or a sari bought from a local loom. A map of the town brings the hill, the temple streets and the surrounding fields together on one clean sheet. It's a calm reminder of a very particular place.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name, a wedding date or the year you moved away. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
