Te mapa
Gudivāda lies in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, on the flat, fertile delta of the Krishna river. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets surrounded by rice fields and crossed by irrigation canals that draw water from the delta. Roads and railway lines radiate outward, linking it to Vijayawada, Machilipatnam and other towns in the region.
The Krishna delta is one of the most productive agricultural regions in India, and Gudivāda serves as a market and transport centre for the surrounding villages. Its railway junction connects several lines, making it an important stop in the delta. The landscape around it is shaped by water, with canals, ponds and fields forming a dense, regular pattern.
A Gudivāda map poster shows a town set within a finely divided landscape. The canals and field boundaries create a fine web of lines, the railway draws strong tracks through the centre, and the town itself forms a clear, dense point among the fields. In black and white, the delta becomes an intricate, almost geometric composition.
Irrigation canals cross the land around the town, carrying water from the Krishna delta and dividing the fields into a fine, regular pattern visible on the map.
Several railway lines meet at Gudivāda, forming clear tracks that cross the town and connect it to other parts of the delta and beyond.
Rice fields surround the town on all sides, filling the map with small, regular plots that contrast with the denser grid of the town centre.
