Te mapa
Mineiros lies in south-western Goiás, in the cerrado region of central Brazil. On the map the town is a regular grid of streets on gently rolling land, with highways leading out across the plateau. Beyond the edges, huge fields of soy, maize and cotton form large geometric shapes, broken only by the thin lines of streams and their bands of riverside woodland.
Mineiros is the main access town for Emas National Park, a large protected area of cerrado grassland known for its rheas, giant anteaters and the glowing termite mounds that light up at certain times of year. The park is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering protected areas of the cerrado.
A Mineiros map poster shows a town set within a vast agricultural landscape, with the grid in the middle and wide fields all around. The contrast between the town's regular streets and the large field shapes gives the map a strong structure, calm and orderly at any size.
The streets form a regular grid of blocks at the centre of the map, clearly laid out and easy to read at any size.
Large rectangular fields surround the town, forming bold shapes across the plateau that give the map a strong, graphic character.
Thin streams wind between the fields, lined by narrow strips of woodland that add soft, natural lines to the composition.

Koteā ko Mineiros
Mineiros is home to many farming families in Goiás, and a gateway for visitors to Emas National Park. A map of the town shows it within its landscape, which makes it a meaningful gift for anyone with ties to the region.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a farm name, a date or a phrase in Portuguese. Sand and Paper suit the cerrado well. Digital files are $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
