Te mapa
Nakhl-e Taqī is on the southern coast of Bushehr province, in the same narrow strip of land as Asaluyeh and the onshore facilities of the South Pars gas field. On a map the setting is very clear. The Persian Gulf fills one side of the frame, and dry, folded mountains rise sharply on the other, leaving a thin coastal plain for the town, its roads and its industry.
The coastal highway runs parallel to the shoreline and links a chain of settlements along the gulf. The town's own streets spread across the plain, generally more regular in newer districts built as the energy industry expanded. Wadis come down from the mountains to the sea, marking the land with dry channels that fill only after rare rains.
A Nakhl-e Taqī map poster captures this tension between sea, mountain and industry in a single frame. In black and white the coastline becomes a crisp, confident edge, and the pressure of the mountains on the town is plain to see. It is a striking image of one of Iran's most distinctive working coasts.
The coastline forms a long, clean boundary along one side of the map, with the open water left as calm negative space against the town's streets.
The main road follows the shoreline and ties the town into the string of settlements along this stretch of the Bushehr coast.
Dry channels descend from the steep hills behind the town towards the sea, cutting fine diagonal lines across the narrow coastal plain.

Koteā ko Nakhl-e Taqī
Many people have lived and worked on this coast, some for years and some for a single project, and the place tends to stay with them. A map of Nakhl-e Taqī records that time with a clear coastline and a quiet design.
