River valley
The river winds through the town, and most of the older streets run beside it. It gives the poster a central curving line that everything else follows.

Te mapa
Nova Era lies in central-eastern Minas Gerais, in a landscape of steep hills and narrow valleys. On a map the town follows the course of its river. The main streets trace the valley floor, and newer neighbourhoods climb wherever the slopes allow. The result is a long, irregular outline rather than a compact grid, shaped almost entirely by the terrain.
The municipality belongs to one of the most important mining regions in Brazil, near Itabira and the Vale do Aço, and mining and the railway have long been part of local life. The wider area is also known for emeralds found in the surrounding hills, which gave the region a place in the Brazilian gemstone trade.
A Nova Era map poster shows a town that has had to fit itself into the land. The winding river, the railway, the roads squeezed into the valley and the hillside streets that stop where the ground becomes too steep give the print a distinctive, flowing outline.
The river winds through the town, and most of the older streets run beside it. It gives the poster a central curving line that everything else follows.
Tracks follow the valley alongside the river and roads. Their smooth curves add a second, more regular line to the town's layout.
Residential streets climb the slopes in short, winding segments and end abruptly where the hills steepen. This gives the map an organic, uneven edge.

Koteā ko Nova Era
People from Nova Era know their town through its hills: the climb home, the view down to the river. A map poster keeps that shape visible, whether in a new home in Belo Horizonte or in a family house nearby.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised. Noir works well for the dense valley, Paper for a softer look. HD files in six print sizes cost $9 and include 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs. Framed matte prints are also available.
